The Packers were off to a rough start in the beginning. Starting on defense the packers let big play after big play happen and it ended with a score from Detroit making it 7 to 0. The packers started there drive on offense after a gain with a big help by Aaron Jones picking up big yards and the fist touchdown for the Green Bay Packer.

The start of the second quarter the Detroit Lions start with the ball after a few incomplete passes and a flag for intentional grounding the lions punted the ball.  The Packers and Lions exchanged touchdowns again in the second quarter, and just before half Detroit took a 17-14 lead. However, that would be the last points they scored all night. Green Bay scored 21 unanswered points as Jones and Rodgers shredded the Detroit defense.

The Packers defense turned up the pressure and forced four turnovers in the second half. Rodgers was nearly perfect on his return to Lambeau after a turbulent off-season. Rodgers wasn’t the only one who brought a calming presence to the city of Green Bay. Aaron Jones had a dream day for fantasy owners, scoring four touchdowns, 1 rushing and 3 receiving  as well as having 63 rushing yards.
