This week in the library we had the first CHS Chess tournament happen. There were three different brackets in which 18 people competed against each other. So far we have a winner of the expert level –Patrick Brown.  We are still waiting to hear who won the beginner and intermediate categories. We will however find out who wins next week during intervention which is when the finals will take place.

Also be on the look out for the next library event which will be checkers. There will be only two categories for the checkers. The rules are still being worked out a bit but it should be coming soon.
