The Seattle Seahawks Battled it out against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Sunday was to say that all of that hype was, in fact, justified — that the NFC West should be on alert for a blue-and-green takeover. Upon a deep breath, though, I think I’ll take a similar route as last Monday. This, too, was just one game — because the Seahawks are still dripping with concerns.
After a back-and-forth second half that featured big plays by both offenses. Detroit hit a 50 yard trick play to land touchdown. The big takeaways by the Seahawks defense kept Seattle in the mix. The game went to overtime, and in the extra period, the Seahawks started with the ball, drove 75 yards, then celebrated in what had been an incredibly loud Ford Field crowd that fell silent after Tyler Lockett’s winning touchdown. Seattle is 1-1 on the season.
