Trevon Diggs Star cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys is out for the rest of the 2023 season due to tearing is ACL in his left knee Thursday morning during practice. Reports say that Diggs was injured in practice and was carted off the field.
Trevon Diggs suffered the injury early on in practice during the one-on-one portion of training. Diggs was seen in the team facility after practice walking on crutches. Later in the day Diggs got an MRI which revealed the tear of his ACL. Losing Trevon Diggs will not be good for the Cowboys defense. The Cowboys face the Cardinals who are (0-2) in week three. Diggs led the Cowboys in interceptions last season and was expected to be the key player on the defense. Dallas still has high hopes for this season but this injury has taken some air out of the excitement.
