On Friday’s 3 to 4 different kids each week from the Varsity high school boy’s basketball team goes down to the Elementary School to help the kids read or work on different activities for about 50 minutes. This takes place during intervention time and the basketball team will continue to do this throughout the whole basketball season.
The player’s selected must have strong grades and no missing assignments. Last Friday during intervention Quincy Scott, Brandon Leahy, Mason Schumacher and Caden Ross went down to Mrs. Wilhelm’s 1st grade class to help the kids with reading books and helped the kids do activities on their Chromebooks. This is a fun way of supporting the Elementary kids!
