The all-star game was a very high scoring game with the East winning 211-186. The East had 3 players with more than 30 points with Damian Lillard leading the team with 39 points and the west was led by Karl Anthony Towns with 50 points. There was not a lot of defense played if any which is normal in the All Star game to help avoid injury in the game.
The west never outscored the East in any quarter which is very surprising the most points the west scored in a quarter was 50 and the most for the east in the quarter was 56. The East set a record in the game with being the first team in the all star game ever to score more than 200 points in a game. Will there be another record set next year? Or can the West get the revenge on the East next all star game?
