The Nuggets beat the Lakers last night by a score of 101 to 99. The Lakers were up by 15 points and half with the score being 59-44 at half. They then would get outscored 57-40 in the second half. The Lakers shot better than the Nuggets overall with shooting 48 percent from the field and the Nuggets shooting 44 percent from the field. Then the 3 point percentage for the Nuggets was not very good with shooting 23 percent from three and the Lakers shot pretty well from three with shooting 43 percent from three. The Nuggets will have to shoot better from three if they want to win game 3 in LA.
The Lakers had three guys with 20 or more points in this game which includes, D’Angelo Russel with 23 points, Lebron James with 26 points and Anthony Davis had 32 points. The Nuggets also had three players that had 20 points or more with Jamal Murray having 20 points, Michael Porter Jr. having 22 and Nikola Jokic who has been great all year had 27 points with also adding 20 rebounds and 10 assists. Can the Nuggets possibly sweep the Lakers on the road? Or can the Lakers win 2 games in a row at home and tie up the series?
