New York Jets fans and all the football community was shocked this week. On Monday night the Hall of fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers was carted off the field after tearing his left Achilles tendon. This was his first start for the Jets and all Jets fans were excited to see what Aaron could do for the team.
Aaron Rodgers will be out for the rest of the 2023 season. Starting quarterback last season Zach Wilson will now fill in for Aaron Rodgers. Wilson played most of the game, all but 4 snaps, and led the Jets to a season opening win. Many wonder if Wilson can continue the winning throughout the season. This injury for Aaron Rodgers could be the end of his career. Even with Aaron Rodgers out for the game the Jets still beat the Bills 22-16 In week 1 of the NFL season. They play at Dallas Sunday in a key matchup for both teams and the home opener for the Cowboys.
