Tri-Cities Airport Begins $6.25 Million Project.

Administrators of the Tri-Cities Airport have released information on the new and improved airport! The airport gave praise towards the port of Pasco and community for the $6.25 million dollar funding.  The money to be used is said that the improvements will be made towards the airports business park’s road, as well as their taxi lining system. All these additions are mentioned to enhance their airfield access and make the airport operate more efficiently.

The airport Admin’s aim to have 12-18 lots wrapped up  and ready for operation November. Later in about spring 2025, the taxi line will be put into construction.

Tri-Cities Airport Director Buck Taft, reveals his thoughts on the airports new improvements:

“Our airport business park has been growing significantly here recently and we got to the point where we needed to make some significant infrastructure improvements if we wanted to continue to fill the lots.”
