Justin Jefferson Placed On IR

Star Vikings receiver is expected to miss the next 4 games

This past week Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson strained his right hamstring in the fourth quarter of a 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Cheifs on Sunday. He slipped on the turf at U.S. Bank Stadium while running a route and didn’t return. Jefferson is expected to return later on in the season but it may be too late for a playoff push unless the Vikings turn the season around.

The Vikings are standing at a 1-4 record after a Chiefs loss, and with the reigning offensive player of the year out for the Vikings, they need to find someone that can help their offense out in a big way. Jefferson is missing some key games against the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons, they need someone to step up and help them get some wins so when he comes back they can keep rolling.
