Superbowl is Set

Reigning Champs looking to go back to back while 49ers look to seek revenge
Superbowl+is+Set

With Championship week in the books the Superbowl matchup is set, the San Francisco 49ers represent the NFC, and the Kansas City Cheifs showing for the AFC. These two teams played each other in 2020 where Patrick Mahomes playing in his first Superbowl led the Chiefs to a 4th quarter comeback, scoring 21 unanswered points to get his first ring 31-20. This is Patrick’s 4th Superbowl appearance seeking his 3rd Superbowl victory.

On the other side of things, 49er quarterback Brock Purdy has proved all the critics wrong as he led the 49ers to a 17 point second half comeback against the Detroit Lions, Purdy’s career so far has gone a lot like Mahomes, played great both seasons his first ending in a conference championship loss, then getting back next season and going to the Super Bowl.

These two teams really have been playing at their best as the Chiefs took down the AFC’s 1 and 2 seeds on the road, and the 49ers consistently played great football. The spread has the 49ers by 1.5, however Mahomes has been on the underdog side of things for basically every playoff game and he is still in it.

It will be a great game and fans can’t wait to see who comes out on top.
