Horse racing has been happening in Tri- cities for about 30 years and is overcoming the Covid – 19 issues. In 2021 the races were canceled due to Covid and everyone thought it would be the end of racing in the Tri- Cities area.  It was just announced that racing will happen again at Sundowns which is the Benton Franklin Fair grounds. The facilities will be open to horse trainers February  1st.

The trainers will work hard to help make the horses be the best and healthiest shape they can be. The races will run in March and April. They don’t only have horse races. There will be betting and one weekend there will even be dog races. The horse races are a great weekend activity to enjoy with friends and family.  This spring will feature some fun at the track.
