Burbank Hosts Tri-City Prep for Senior Night
Preview Football Game: Senior Night

This week the Burbank Coyotes are playing against the Tri-City Prep Jaguars Friday night for the 2nd seed in the EWAC East. With Riverview beating the Coyotes 26-13 and also beating TC Prep they have finished 1st in the conference. However, this game means a lot, not only is it our Seniors last guaranteed home game and the winner of Friday’s matchup will host a crossover game for a chance at state. Both teams stand at a 5-3 record on the season. In last year’s matchup it was an absolute shootout with an 89-50 win for the Coyotes in Pasco.

The Coyotes are looking to keep giving the ball to their star running back Elijah Kinsey who has 1100 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on the season. But it’s not all Kinsey, the offensive line is a huge part in that run game as well with senior linemen. Travis Sloan, Tate Worcott, Aiden Kelly, and Josh Edwards, are going to be working hard in the trenches all game. Defensively the Coyotes have been good all year. From stopping the run to preventing pass plays, they are going to have to get the ball back for the offense and force turnovers. The Coyotes defense have 28 takeaways on the season and are looking for more.

Kickoff is 7pm Friday in Burbank.
