Last Saturday the Coyotes went to Mabton to play there game for League Champs. If the Coyotes lost they would have a chance at being the two seed and not keep the two year streak of being league champs alive. The Coyotes were in a dog fight the whole game and at halftime Burbank led by the score of 16-14.

Elijah Kinsey had to leave the game because of a head to head hit so Tristan Frimodt came in at running back the rest of the game. At the end of the 3rd Quarter Burbank was losing 21-16, but that didn’t stop them from coming back and winning the game 22-21 making them league champs and keep the streak of three straight seasons of being league champs. Parker Nelson had two interceptions in helping the Burbank Defense keep Mabton from scoring.  The come from behind win was the closest game since the Ki-Be win in week 2.

The Coyotes nest game will be played Friday the 29th against Dayton-Waitsburg for the last league game of the year.
