The Lady Coyotes played another non-league game against the Kiona Benton Bears on Tuesday night. They started the game off strong with a few great shots leading the game 11-0. The Bears called a time out and came back strong decreasing the Coyotes’ lead. The girls didn’t stop playing though, and began pressing against Ki-Be which gave them a few great steals, passes, and shots to inch their lead ahead to 22-13 at half time.

In the second half, the Coyotes came out strong and started running their offense better, while also playing better defense after Ki-Be put in their best offensive player. The fourth quarter was played by the starters which were Audri Kinsey, Alyssa Stanley, Shayley Larson, Hailey Jamison, and Azlyn Pariera.

The Coyotes limited their shots by playing great defense and only let up four points. They also played good offense, making a total of fourteen points, a lot of which were from free throws during double bonus. The Lady Coyotes were successful and won the game with a final score of 43-28. Their next home game is this Saturday with games starting at 4:30pm.
