Columbia-Burbank 74   Walla Walla Valley 18

Burbank went to Walla Walla Tuesday and came away with a conference win.  The Coyotes jumped on the Walla Walla Valley Knights from the start and led 20 to 2 at the end of the 1st quarter.  Burbank was able to keep the pace through the half and were up 44-4 at halftime.  It never got any closer and every Coyote scored again.  Michael Lenke led all scoring with 23 followed by Quincy Scott 19, Tristan Frimodt 17.  The Coyotes finished with a 74-18 win.

Columbia-Burbank 82   Dayton-Waitsburg 32

The Coyotes returned home Saturday to play Dayton-Waitsburg in the second EWAC East Division game of the season.  Columbia-Burbank came in with an undefeated record and the Wolfpack had not won a game yet this season.  Dayton-Waitsburg was in trouble early as the Coyote defense stole the ball and scored some easy baskets in the first quarter.  All Coyotes scored in the first half and Burbank was able to have its largest scoring half of the season.  Burbank led 50-12 at half.  Just like Tuesday’s game, the game was running clock the second half because the lead was over 40 points.  Columbia-Burbank’s scoring leaders were Tristan Frimodt 28, Quincy Scott 24,  Parker Nelson 9.  The Coyotes are 8-0 and ranked number 1 in the state by MaxPreps.  The Coyotes will play again on Dec. 28th at home against Riverside HS from Oregon.
