Last week was the beginning of practice for the Coyote golf team, which consists of William Neylon and Shayley Larson. They practice two to three times a week and focus on their technical skills, driving, putting, chipping, and etiquette. They will have a total of about 12-13 tournaments over the season, not including postseason. Tournaments will be played mostly in Walla Walla, and districts will be held in Cle Elum at the Suncadia Resort Courses. Their first tournament is Wednesday, March 16 hosted by the Milton-Freewater Golf Course. If anyone else is interested in joining the team, it’s not too late.
