Rivalry week has arrived. The Finley Panthers will come to play the Columbia Coyotes on Burbank’s home field. The Coyotes just came off a win against Dayton-Waitsburg with a score of 55-8, and are diligently preparing to compete against the Panthers. “It’s always my favorite week to play them, it’s the River Rivalry!” says Shaun Wilder, number 6.

Coyote practices have been getting more and more focused on getting to state competitions as the year has progressed, but they still stay most focused on who they play that next week.  The Friday game will be for the league championship as both teams are undefeated on EWAC East Division play.

It is also senior night when the Coyotes play the Panthers on the 21st of October, so be sure to cheer on your favorite seniors, Michael Lenke, number 8, Braxton Taylor, number 50, Christian Luce, number 42, and Creete Jackson, number 7.
