The Coyotes played Prep on Tuesday and the boys won 88-36 while the girls won 39-35. Prep was 5-0 in the Boys league standings going into the game which now makes the Coyotes first in the league standings and still undefeated in league. The Coyotes came out dominating the game with the score being 33-8 in the first quarter. Then Burbank didn’t quit and were up 55-14 going into half. By the third quarter the Coyotes had sealed the game with the lead of 75-28. Quincy Scott was the leading scorer with 25 and Tristan Frimodt not far behind with 18. This Friday the Coyotes play at Dayton for their 5th league game of the year.

The Girls were led by Olivia Lee, Azlyn Pariera and Hailey Jamison.  The game was close throughout and the lead never got more than 6 points for either team.  Burbank trailed by 4 in the second half before a late surge pushed the Coyotes into the lead with some timely baskets by Olivia Lee and Azlyn Pariera to put the game away.  In the end, the defense shut down Tri-Cities Prep and led them to the victory.
