Thursday night the Lady Coyotes played White Swan for their first round of the District Tournament. Burbank started off the game with a back and forth battle and ended up down two after the first quarter 11-13 and down three 18-21 at haft time.

The Coyotes had a rough third quarter only scoring 2 points total and they came in the last 30 seconds putting us down 20-35 going into the fourth.  The Coyotes never stopped fighting and battled the game back to a 5 point game.  Burbank cut the lead to 37-32 with a few minutes to play but couldn’t quite pull away with the win losing 35-42.

The Coyotes next game will play on Saturday at 6:00 against WWVA  both teams will have to keep winning if they without a loss to make the State round of 16.  Burbank beat WWVA both times in the regular season and will face the Knights here at Burbank Saturday.
