Columbia Burbank vs. Tri-City Prep

Coyotes win 68-41

Columbia+Burbank+vs.+Tri-City+Prep

Last Saturday Burbank made history after beating Prep in the District Championship making the Coyotes a three-peat.  Three District championships in a row for the boys.  Burbank has never won the district championship 3 years in a row but this group of boys is something special and hard to take down.

The game started off with a rough start for Burbank after being down by 7 and yet to score. The Coyotes finally started hitting shoots and held the lead of 5 going into half 19-14. The coyote’s second half was to speed the game up and start pressing. The Jaguars couldn’t handle being sped up and started turning the ball over allowing the Coyotes to extend their lead to over 20 giving them the win 68-41. As a result of the Coyotes winning this game –they were awarded with the 4th place seeding in State Tournament. So, they will travel to the Spokane Arena.  Before that, Burbank will play the opening round of State against Brewster.  The winner will have a first round bye and won’t have to play in a loser out game.
