The Columbia Coyotes wrestling team had five people go to the state tournament. They had some wrestlers place in good numbers as, Jon brooks got 8th, Carter katz got 5th, Devin Boone got 4th, Travis Sloan who had such a great season sadly did not place, and Braxton Taylor went in as an alternate.

Though they all were shooting for first place,  and did not get the top prize -two of them are Juniors and 1 is a Freshmen and they are some of the hardest workers in this school. They were all excited to be able and go to state in general, they even left in style as there coach dyed his handle bar mustache gold and had a bandanna and sunglasses on to look like Hulk Hogan, and they wore there new uniforms and warm ups and all dyed there hair purple. The wrestling team works hard and yet they still found ways to have fun.
