On Friday, the Columbia Coyotes defeated the Ki-Be Bears at Benton City. The final score of the game was 21-14. The three Coyotes that scored are Tristan Frimodt with a 19-yard receiving touchdown, Elijah Kinsey with a 30-yard rushing touchdown, and Michael Lenke with a returned kick to take the lead 21-14. There were some great defensive plays made by the Coyotes including interceptions from Zane Jackson, Tristan Frimodt, and Shaun Wilder.

I got the chance to ask the Coyotes starting quarterback, Michael Lenke, a few questions. When asked how he thought the game went Michael replied, “It went good”. Michael ended the game with 86 passing yards and a kick return for a touchdown. The Coyotes next game will be Friday against White Swan at 7 in Burbank.
