For at least three years the PS5 has been out for all the public. Sadly though many have been unable to obtain the console when it first came out due to covid stalling many items being transported at that time. Many stores were sold out of stock for the consoles already in the U.S. The requests for this item didn’t slow down.

Throughout the three years small amounts of the console were able to be shipped in the U.S. but were put on sale during holidays as that was when the most money was made for game launches as well.

Now with covid technically over, the consoles have become somewhat easier to get. But stores like Game Stop or Walmart won’t because of the high demand. You’ll notice a large amount of new PS5 games on display as Sony is selling the digital console for cheaper and many people still have no PS5. If you ever have a chance to grab one, do it because you won’t get another chance likely.
