Coyotes Beat Brewster In First Round of State
Coyotes Win 32-28
Last Friday the Coyotes played Brewster in the first round of the State playoffs. At the end of the first quarter the Coyotes and Brewster were tied 0-0. At the half, the Coyotes had the lead 14-6. End of the 3rd quarter the Coyotes led 26-19 in a muddy battle as it rained all day. The rest of the game was a big battle with scoring from both sides. The Coyotes pulled out the win 32-28 being the first state win in 36 years. Michael Lenke led the attack with three touchdowns including a 60 yard run that broke through many Brewster Bear defenders.
The Coyotes play Okanogan this Friday @ the Apple Bowl in Wenatchee. Game time is set for 7pm in Wenatchee. Come support the Coyotes for the second round of the State playoffs.
