The Boys Basketball team beat Brewster 72-54 in the Sun Dome Shootout.  Brewster started strong and led 7-0 early in the game.  At the end of the first period Burbank trailed 15-13.  From the second quarter on the Coyotes took the lead and never looked back.  Burbank led 37-29 at halftime and extended it to over 20 points.  Tristan Frimodt led all scorers with 28 and Michael Lenke added 18.  Brewster was ranked #3 in the state coming into the game.

The next day the Coyotes played Overlake HS from Seattle.  The game was slower and both teams struggled to score.  Burbank was down 28-16 at halftime but came out playing better in the second half.  Still down 40-30 going into the 4th quarter the Coyotes shutdown Overlake and held them to only four free throws in the entire quarter.  The Coyotes pulled out the victory over Overlake 47-44 as Caden Ross iced the game with two clutch free throws to seal the win.  CHS won both games in the Sun Dome Shootout.
